Congratulations to William Watson and William Harker who topped 42 pairs over two days to win the District 21 North American Pairs Flight A, and to Don-Min Tsou and Paul Li who topped 21 pairs to win the District 21 North American Pairs Flight C. The top three finishers in each flight are invited to represent District 21 in the national finals at the Spring NABC in Memphis. The Flight B district finals (up to 2,000 masterpoints) will be held on February 4 (pre-qualification required).

Congratulations to all masterpoint winners at the Monterey Clambake Regional. 2,929 tables of play was the largest turnout ever for this tournament, which has doubled in size over the last ten years. The two 0–750 pair events drew 89 tables and rewarded gold points for section winners and overall finishers. Thank you to tournament chairpersons Jackie Matthews and Pam Hughes, director-in-charge Nancy Boyd, and their teams for producing such a well-run and rewarding tournament.
