Seminars and Meetings at the San Francisco Fall NABC

There is more to the game at NABCs, when members have an opportunity to take advantage of numerous educational and social activities. Here is a listing of the seminars being offered in San Francisco. For more information, contact education@acbl.org.

Teacher Accreditation Program (TAP)

Learn modern teaching techniques from one of the ACBL’s premier teachers in this 10-hour interactive learning course which includes three hours of hands-on experience. Learn the business side of teaching bridge and be introduced to 64 weeks of class material and more! There are even techniques to move your students into duplicate faster. Leave with the tools needed to develop a successful teaching career.
Fee: $125.
Date: Thursday and Friday, Nov. 16 and Nov. 17.
Time: 1 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 10 p.m. on Thursday, 9  a.m.- noon on Friday

Reception for Teachers and Club Officials

This is the ACBL's "thank you" reception for the teachers and club officials who work so hard to recruit and retain our members. All teachers are welcome, along with club directors, managers and owners.

Bridge Teachers and Bridge Cruises

Peg Cundiff, host of more than 100 bridge cruises, will educate you on the ins and outs of being a successful teacher/game director on a cruise ship. An interesting morning program for current and prospective teachers and directors.

Board of Governors Meeting

All members of the ACBL Board of Governors are invited to attend the Fall NABC meeting. This meeting is also open to the general membership of the ACBL. Discussion will include recent actions of the Board of Directors, reports from the CEO and treasurer and new proposals from the Board of Governors.
