10:30am &

4:00pm:     Open & Bracketed Swiss Teams  Field is grouped in brackets of 8 teams based on average masterpoint holdings of all team members.  Top ‘Open’ bracket includes 8 teams with highest masterpoint totals and all other teams that elect to compete in the ‘Open’ bracket, regardless of masterpoint holdings.  ‘Open’ and lowest brackets may have more than 8 teams, thus may not play all teams in their bracket.  Remaining field is bracketed based on total masterpoint holdings of all team members.  Teams must play both sessions.  7 rounds, 8 boards (lowest bracket 6 boards).  20 Victory Point scale for all brackets.

Joe Knox was a long-time member of Unit #499 who encouraged numerous new players. He was a gentleman and a credit to the game of bridge.
