BRACKETED SWISS TEAMS

The field is generally grouped into brackets of 8 teams based on total master point holdings. The Top Bracket will consist of the highest ranked teams plus any teams that opt to be in the Top Bracket. Teams must play both sessions. The 20 point victory scale will be used.  All brackets except the lowest bracket will play 7 rounds, 8 boards.  The lowest bracket will be limited to players with less than 200 master points (1)

(1) The tournament seeks to attract newer players. Adjustments may be made to the stratifications and the number of Swiss team boards played to promote better competition among novice and intermediate players.

Bridge fees: $9.00 per person    $10.00 for non and unpaid ACBL members

Refreshments available, Lunch for Sunday Swiss for modest fee

Directions: The Vintage House is two blocks north of the square in downtown Sonoma. Parking is available at the Vintage House and on First Street East. Additional parking and a rear entrance to the Vintage House is available on Second Street East.  Several restaurants and one Hotel on the square are within walking distance of the Vintage House.
