First Session Second Session |
The time has arrived to start planning for the 2011–2012 NAP club qualifying games. During the months of June, July & August your club can hold two NAP qualifying games per sanctioned session per month. The sanction fee is only $4.00 per table and you receive ½ red & ½ black masterpoints. Clubs do not need a special sanction — just use the NAP strats, shuffle, deal & play.
The ACBL District 21 2011–12 North American Pairs will be played according to the ACBL North American Pairs Conditions of Contest, with District 21 electing the following options as allowed in those Conditions. Any changes to the ACBL Conditions of Contest and their allowed options take precedent over the items listed here.
Strats: Flight C — 0–500 NLM by June 2011 masterpoint cycle, Flight B 0–2,000, and Flight A open to all.
You must first qualify at the club level and then enter the Unit level. A player can ONLY PLAY IN ONE UNIT LEVEL QUALIFACTION in any Unit in D21. After qualifying at the Unit level you may go to the D21 finals and the top three winners of each stratum will represent D21 in Memphis, Tenn. Spring NABC's in Spring 2012. Units must apply for an ACBL sanction for Unit NAP games and the fee is $7.00 per table and only one sanction allowed per Unit.
1st place will receive $700.00 each person given by ACBL — no entry fee,
2nd place will receive $300.00 each person given by ACBL — no entry fee, and
3rd place will receive $200.00 each person given by District 21 — no entry fee.
ACBL monetary awards will be given on site and players must play in the event until eliminated to receive the award. All players must be a paid member of D21 in good standing. Units may hold only ONE NAP game and must be sanctioned by ACBL in the month of September, October, November or December 2011. D21 NAP final in January 2012.
